About Our Products

What types of plants does Evergreen Store specialize in?
We offer a carefully curated selection of trees, shrubs, and flowering plants including fruit trees (Apple, Citrus, Avocado), ornamental varieties (Cherry Blossom, Azalea, Camellia), privacy hedges (Arborvitae, Cedar, Boxwood), and berry bushes (Blueberry, Blackberry). Our inventory balances beauty and functionality for home gardeners.
How do you ensure plant health during shipping?
Our horticulture specialists use climate-responsive packaging with breathable materials and moisture-retention techniques. Tropical plants like Banana Trees receive expedited shipping, while dormant varieties like Ash Trees are winter-wrapped. Each plant is hand-selected and packaged with appropriate soil moisture levels.
Which plants are best for beginners?
Hardy varieties like Birch Trees, Barberry shrubs, and Blackberry Bushes tolerate longer shipping times and adapt well to various conditions. Our Clematis and Coneflowers are also excellent starter plants for flowering gardens.

Shipping & Delivery

What shipping options are available?
We offer two tailored services:
Standard Shipping ($12.95): Via DHL/FedEx (10-15 days) – ideal for tropical plants like Bamboo Trees or time-sensitive gifts.
Free Shipping: For orders over $50 via EMS (15-25 days) – perfect for hedging projects with Boxwood Shrubs or hardy varieties.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We ship globally except to some remote areas and parts of Asia due to agricultural regulations. All international shipments include tracking from our Vermont nursery to your garden.
How are plants packaged in extreme weather?
We seasonally adjust packaging—adding insulation for winter shipments (like dormant Cherry Trees) and ventilation with hydration packs for summer (especially for heat-sensitive Azaleas). Our “morning shipment” protocol protects delicate plants during warm months.

Payments & Orders

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, JCB, and PayPal for secure global transactions. All payments are processed through encrypted systems to protect your information.
Can I modify my order after placement?
Orders can typically be modified within 12 hours of placement. For urgent changes, email [email protected] with your order number. Note that expedited orders process quickly and may not be adjustable.

Returns & Guarantees

What is your plant health guarantee?
We guarantee all plants (including Camellia Shrubs and Citrus Trees) will arrive healthy and thrive for 15 days after delivery. If not, we’ll replace them or issue a refund. International replacements may have restrictions due to agricultural laws.
How do I initiate a return?
Email [email protected] within 15 days of delivery with photos of the plant and your order number. For deceased plants, include images of the root system. We’ll guide you through our simple return process—no need to ship back unhealthy plants.
Are there non-returnable items?
Custom plant collections and clearance items are final sale. Some international shipments may have replacement limitations rather than refunds due to phytosanitary regulations, especially for fruit trees like Avocado Trees.

Gardening Support

Can you advise on plant selection for my climate?
Absolutely! Our gardening experts can recommend suitable plants like cold-hardy Arborvitae Trees or heat-tolerant Bamboo based on your USDA zone. Email us at [email protected] with your location and garden goals.
When is the best time to plant shipped specimens?
Spring: Ideal for Azaleas and flowering shrubs
Fall: Perfect for Ash Trees and Cherry Trees
Winter: Dormant plants like Blackberry Bushes ship well
